~apparel shoot~
Bonded leather belt. On-location and on-figure photographs that heightens the dark and gothic aesthetic.
The theme of the shoot is “dark academia,” with the main hall of Drexel University as its stage.
This setting is perfect as the scholarly place was built by architect and engineer, Joseph M. Wilson. His company specialized in railroads and they had also built the once Broad Street Station. This station is said to be the early beginnings of skyscrapers and their prior experience inspired the gothic design of the building.
Model direction included a “scholarly” outfit with dark and neutral tones, along with accessories and props that enhanced the overall aura. Poses represent a romanticized idea of the academic experience.
Shoot done in collaboration with two other members, Alex and Peggy; and of course, our model, Mariana.
I was responsible for concept creation, directing, and final editing 🙂
